High Plains Hunter

The High Plains Hunter was designed to be the ultimate companion for hunters, bushcrafters, and outdoor enthusiasts who demand reliability in the field. Combining the precision required for game processing with the durability needed for wilderness tasks, the High Plains Hunter offers exceptional versatility in a rugged, well-balanced package. Its 5-inch clip point blade provides excellent control for detailed cutting work while maintaining the strength and cutting power necessary for heavier bushcraft tasks. Whether you're dressing game, preparing firewood, or setting up camp, the High Plains Hunter is built to perform when it matters most.

BLADE

The High Plains Hunter features a 5-inch clip point blade crafted from high-carbon O1 tool steel. At 3/16-inch thick, the blade provides the ideal balance of strength and cutting efficiency for both hunting and bushcraft applications. The clip point profile offers excellent control for detailed work while maintaining enough belly for skinning and game processing.

A crisp 90-degree spine allows for effective ferro rod striking and tinder scraping, making it an invaluable tool for wilderness survival and firecraft.

HANDLE SHAPE AND LENGTH

The High Plains Hunter features a comfortable 5-inch handle designed to provide a secure grip during extended use. Its ergonomic profile naturally fits the hand, reducing fatigue and improving control during demanding cutting tasks. Whether performing fine carving work or heavier field chores, the handle offers confidence and comfort in a variety of grip positions.

STEEL AND HEAT TREATING

Crafted from premium O1 tool steel, the High Plains Hunter is built for toughness, edge retention, and dependability. Each blade is heat treated and tempered to a hardness of 60 Rockwell (HRC), providing an excellent balance between durability and cutting performance. This proven steel has long been favored by outdoorsmen for its ability to take a keen edge and withstand hard use in the field.
