The Bootcamp was designed for those who appreciate a compact knife without sacrificing capability. Sharing the same rugged heritage as the High Plains Hunter, the Bootcamp features a slimmer profile and reduced overall size, making it an excellent choice for hunters, bushcrafters, and outdoorsmen who prefer a lighter, more maneuverable knife on their belt. Whether you're processing game, preparing kindling, carving camp tools, or tackling everyday field tasks, the Bootcamp delivers dependable performance in a package that's easy to carry and comfortable to use.

BLADE

The Bootcamp features a 4-inch blade crafted from premium O1 tool steel. At 3/16-inch thick, the blade offers an excellent balance of strength, durability, and cutting performance in a compact package. Its slimmer profile makes it highly maneuverable and easy to control, allowing it to excel at detailed cutting tasks while still being capable of handling the rigors of hunting and bushcraft use.

Like all of our outdoor knives, the Bootcamp features a crisp 90-degree spine, making it an excellent tool for striking a ferro rod and preparing tinder in the field.

HANDLE SHAPE AND LENGTH

The Bootcamp is fitted with a comfortable 4¾-inch handle that provides a secure grip while maintaining a compact overall footprint. Designed with ergonomics in mind, the handle naturally contours to the hand, reducing fatigue during extended use and offering excellent control during both fine detail work and heavier cutting tasks.

STEEL AND HEAT TREATING

Crafted from high-carbon O1 tool steel, the Bootcamp is built to withstand years of hard use. Each blade is heat treated and tempered to 60 Rockwell (HRC), providing an outstanding balance of toughness, edge retention, and cutting performance. This proven steel takes an exceptionally keen edge and is trusted by outdoorsmen for its reliability in the field.
